Day 8:Koyasan- Okunoin Cemetery
One of my favorite trips in Japan. It was so peaceful and the cooler air of the mountain brought much needed relief from the heat of the city! It is quite a trek to get there, but the scenery is worth it. You are basically riding a train through the forests on tops of mountains. I felt like I was in a Studio Ghibli movie!
